Cancellation Policy & Liability Disclaimer

All tours are individually planned and require advance organization and reservations (vehicles, drivers, guides, hotels, entrance tickets, permits, and third-party services). Therefore, the following terms apply:

Deposit & Payment Terms

  • A deposit of approximately 10–20% of the total tour price is required at the time of booking.
    The exact amount depends on the planning effort and advance bookings involved.
  • The remaining balance is payable on the first day of the tour (tour start).
  • The deposit serves as a binding booking commitment and covers administrative work and advance reservations.

Deposit – Non-Refundable

  • The paid deposit is non-refundable in all cases, regardless of the reason for cancellation.

Cancellations Before Tour Start

  • 14 days or more before tour start:
    The deposit remains non-refundable. Any additional payments made will be refunded only if all booked services can be canceled without cost.

  • 13 to 8 days before tour start:
    A minimum of 50% of the total tour price will be charged.

  • 7 days or less before tour start:
    100% of the total tour price will be charged.

Cancellation or Early Termination During the Tour

  • If the client cancels, terminates, or leaves the tour after it has started, for any reason whatsoever (including personal reasons, illness, change of travel plans, dissatisfaction, or external circumstances), no refund will be granted for any unused services, days, or portions of the tour.

  • This applies equally to accommodation, transportation, entrance fees, activities, guiding services, and any other included or optional services.

Important Notice – Third-Party Services

  • Hotels, transportation providers, airlines, entrance tickets, festival tickets, guides, drivers, and other third-party services are subject to their own terms and conditions.

  • chiangmaiprivatetour.com acts solely as an organizer and intermediary for these services.

  • The company assumes no liability for cancellations, changes, delays, service failures, force majeure events, or non-refundability imposed by third-party suppliers.

  • Any costs charged by third-party providers that are non-refundable will be borne entirely by the client, regardless of the cancellation date or reason.

No-Show

  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations on the tour start date or in case of failure to appear.

Refund Processing

  • Any applicable refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days from the official date of cancellation.

Booking Confirmation Clause 

By confirming the booking and paying the deposit, the client explicitly agrees to the cancellation policy and liability disclaimer stated above.
